The position involves all aspects of patent development including preparation and prosecution through issuance with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  If you offer the following, we want to talk to you:

• Graduate degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Significant R&D experience in industry/academia, especially in hardware, software, cloud, or electrical systems.
• Recognized technical leadership
• Excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills

In addition, Slater Matsil offers Patent Agents a leadership track that is unique to the industry. Upon at least eight years’ experience as a Patent Agent and a proven track record with the firm, Patent Agents may be considered for “Distinguished Patent Agent” status, which provides an opportunity to expand on your leadership abilities.
