We are seeking a passionate Head of Physics to manage our well–established sub–department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics from KS3 to KS5: Deliver engaging, high–quality lessons across all levels, including A Level.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and act as a role model for other teaching colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Innovate and Inspire: Plan and deliver creative lessons, organize exciting extra–curricular activities, and motivate students to achieve excellent results.
  • Contribute to School Development: Participate actively in the broader development of the School, helping shape its future success.


  • Qualified Teacher Status: ECT or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent ability to work collaboratively and form positive relationships with both staff and pupils.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
