As a tenured or tenure-track faculty member (OPEN RANK), the successful candidate will have a strong commitment to both teaching and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Their scholarly activity might include areas such as interdisciplinary education, mentorship, and/or best practices for interdisciplinary and hands-on, laboratory-based coursework, and they will seek external funding to support these endeavors. A significant component of this position will be developing interdisciplinary curricula in collaboration with teams of faculty within the ISI. They will be expected to teach undergraduate courses associated with the Integrative Sciences Initiative and contribute to the development of innovative instructional methods, particularly as related to the initiative.
