The jobs start in the fall of 2025, with the possibility of an earlier start. We welcome fellows working in elementary particle phenomenology and related cosmological topics. The positions have an initial term of two years and can be extended, depending upon the funding situation and mutual agreements. The search is open until the positions are filled. For full consideration, please submit application materials by January 31, 2025.
The NTU particle physics phenomenology group currently has four active faculty members -- Jiunn-Wei Chen, Cheng-Wei Chiang, George Wei-Shu Hou and Chia-Hsien Shen, working on Higgs, flavor, CP violation, QCD, neutrino, dark matter physics, and deep machine learning. We also have a leading high-energy experimental group in Taiwan, with seven faculty members working on Belle, CMS, Daya Bay, KOTO experiments, among others.
NTU is one of the top research universities in Taiwan. Its campus is located at the center of Taipei City, with easy access to nearby institutes and cities by shuttles, buses, subways, trains, and high-speed trains.
