The high-energy nuclear physics group at Zhejiang Institute of Modern Physics invites applications for postdoctoral positions. The starting date in 2025 may be negotiable, but it is preferable to join earlier. The position is for two or three years (depending on the university rules). The institute is located on Zijingang campus of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China.

Successful applicants are expected to work on quantum field theories and their applications to relativistic heavy-ion collisions and related areas with Prof. Koichi Hattori. Applicants who are interested in applications to broad areas, including condensed matter physics, laser physics, and astrophysics, are also welcome to apply.
Interested applicants should submit the following application materials in a single PDF file
1. Cover letter
2. CV including a publication list (with links to the profiles in INSPIRE or Google Scholar if available)
3. Statement on research interests maximally in a few pages
and also have
4. Two or more letters of recommendation directly sent by applicants’ referees. Application documents should be submitted to the email address indicated below.
