Physics Teacher / Head of Physics ( 8000 TLR)

A modern, 'Good' graded Secondary School in Greenwich are looking for a Physics Teacher / Head of Physics ( 8000 TLR) for a January/April 2025 start. This is a permanent, and full–time contract.

This Physics Teacher / Head of Physics will consist of the following:

• Only teaching KS4 & KS5 Physics – Approx 19 periods out of 33!
• Full autonomy of Physics teaching through–out the school
• TLR opportunities for Head of Physics or Lead Practitioner of Physics
• Small class sizes – 20 at GCSE and under 10 in Year 12 and 13.
• Extensive pastoral support team
• Brilliant behaviour policy

• Strong focus on the development of oracy across the curriculum

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be a team player
