Open-rank tenure-track faculty positions in Experimental Biophysics
The Physics Department of Florida International University invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Experimental Biophysics at the rank of Assistant Professor starting August 2025. Especially well-qualified applicants may be considered for a more senior position/rank. The Physics Department currently has multiple active research groups in Experimental, Theoretical, and Computational Biophysics. Individuals whose research focuses on the molecular and cellular biophysics, or nanobiotechnology, biosensing, and instrumentation are of particular interest, although we are open to a wide range of research topics and approaches. Significant start-up funds will be available. The successful candidate is expected to develop a vigorous research program, attract external funding, and teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
