We are seeking a postdoctoral research fellow with experience in astroparticle experiments like Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO), Southern Wide-field Gamma-ray Observatory (SWGO) or the Pierre Auger Observatory.
The successful candidate will be working mainly on the analysis of Monte Carlo simulations of a potential hybrid concept of SWGO with Single-mirror Small Size Telescopes (SST-1M). It is also possible to join activities of our group in Large-sized Telescopes (LST) of CTAO, cosmic-ray phenomenology or the Pierre Auger Observatory.
What you will do
- Develop reconstruction algorithms and analysis techniques;
- Participate in data acquisition shifts of SST-1M telescopes at the Ondřejov Observatory;
- Participate in the international gamma-ray experiment SWGO and SST-1M;
- Present results within international collaborations of SST-1M and SWGO;
- Work within a team;
- Continuous learning;
- Writing of research papers.
