Post-doctoral position in QCD Theory

The Theoretical Physics Division at National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), Warsaw, Poland invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in Quantum Chromodynamics. The position is for 2 years, starting in October 2025. The successful candidate will be hired under a full-time employment contract with a competitive salary of 140 000 PLN/year (gross), plus a travel budget of about 15 000 PLN/year.

The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to work on the project "Delving into Intricacies of Partonic Dynamics in the High-Energy Collider Era" funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), Poland. Requirements:

• PhD in theoretical high-energy or nuclear physics;
• Documented research experience in Quantum Chromodynamics;
• Very good knowledge of English (both oral and written).
