We are pleased to announce the availability of one or two postdoctoral positions at the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (https://tdli.sjtu.edu.cn/EN/). We invite applications from candidates in the field of experimental particle astrophysics, focusing on liquid xenon and crystal detector projects. The liquid xenon research will be conducted within the context of the PandaX experiment (https://pandax.sjtu.edu.cn/).
The R&D on crystal detectors is part of a broader effort to develop compact, low-energy, high-precision calorimeters for various applications. In addition, successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute part-time to data analysis on the JUNO neutrino experiment (http://juno.ihep.cas.cn/).
We are seeking candidates who have recently obtained, or are about to obtain, their PhD (within the past three years) in experimental particle or nuclear physics. Strong proficiency in both hardware and software techniques is highly desirable. Please arrange three reference letters to support the application.
The initial contract will be for two years, with the possibility of extension for an additional two years. For more details about the positions, as well as three reference letters, please contact Prof. Jianglai Liu, jianglai.liu@sjtu.ed.cn.
