The group of Prof. Shao-Jiang Wang of the Gravity & Cosmology Group (faculty members including Rong-Gen Cai, Zong-Kuan Guo, Qing-Guo Huang, Li Li, Shi Pi, Shao-Jiang Wang) at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS, Beijing) is calling for application for a postdoctoral fellow positions starting in 2025. The position is guaranteed for two years, with a possible extension for a third year depending on the funding situation. The gross annual salary is about 250,000 CNY plus some bonus depending on the performance.

The applicant must have obtained a Ph.D. in theoretical physics or other related fields by the starting date. Candidates with experiences or expertise in:

  • theoretical (inflation, dark matter, dark energy, modified gravity, etc.);
  • observational (data analysis using Monte Carlo Markov Chains for CMB+BAO+SNe, etc.);
  • phenomenological (particle cosmology including phase transition, baryon asymmetry, axion cloud, etc.);
  • aspects of cosmology are especially encouraged to apply. Review of the applications will start on February 22th, 2025. The offer will be given no later than March 1st, 2025. However, the position will remain open until filled.
