Postdoctoral Position in Data Analysis and Machine Learning

The Experimental Particle Physics Group (ETP) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) invites applications for junior and senior postdoctoral research associates to work on inter-experimental data science applications in physics and/or analysis with the CMS experiment.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics or should have acquired one by the time of starting the appointment. Further, candidates should have excellent data analysis, computing and programming skills, and in-depth experience with machine-learning applications.

The selected candidate will work in a newly forming dynamic group and will profit from extensive network of national and international collaborators.

The position is available from June 2025 but applications will be considered until the position is filled. To ensure full consideration candidates should apply by April 9th.
