We invite applications for the post of a Lecturer (Teaching & Scholarship) in the School of Physical Science which will be based in the Department of Physics. The post will form an integral part of our Medical Physics and Clinical Science Computing teaching consortium of academic and clinical scientist staff from the Department of Physics, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals, delivering high quality undergraduate and taught postgraduate (PGT) teaching to motivated and engaged student cohorts for the Medical Physics and Clinical Scientific Computing programmes commissioned by Health Education England (HEE).

Our PGT students are professional NHS trainees who join us part-time for three years to obtain the MSc as part of the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) Scientist Training Program (STP).  Our Clinical Science Computing PGT course is a teaching collaborative with Manchester Academy for Healthcare Scientist Education (MAHSE).

Applications are invited from candidates who can demonstrate an excellent teaching profile in medical physics or radiation physics, as evidenced by publications in leading academic journals and other esteem factors.  The post is available on a fixed term basis, until 31 July 2025.
