A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to found your own tech company.

We are seeking talented, ambitious individuals to join the 2022 cohort of our Fusion business creation programme.

You will lead the development and creation of a new tech start-up, including selecting technologies and IP, identifying and assessing commercial opportunities, developing a credible business proposition, building an Executive Team and securing investment.

We will provide a salary for 2 years, structured business training, and no-holds-barred access to our innovative technologies and technical expertise.

Throughout, you’ll be mentored and supported by an experienced team of CEO’s, directors and industry experts, to see you on your way to founding a successful start-up company.

About the role:

• Salaried for 2 years, full time in Oxford or Cumbria (remote and hybrid working considered);
• Explore our technologies and IP, identify applications and assess the commercial opportunities;
• Develop an investable business proposition;
• Form an Executive Team, secure funding and start your start-up business.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people who think big and dare to make their ideas a reality. You won’t be directing from the side-lines and you’ll need to be the sort of person who makes things happen.

Entry Requirements:

• A good degree, ideally with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in industry;
• People or product management experience within an early-stage or fast-moving technology business;
• Experience of managing a project and budget;
• A good understanding of markets, product positioning and innovative business models;
• Demonstrable passion for the application of sensor and vision systems, image analytics and/or robotics.
