Teacher Training with Teach Hurst - our pioneering programme in Sussex (hppc.co.uk)

Company

We offer places to day pupils and boarders. Our flexi and weekly boarding options are popular with pupils from the local area as well as further afield.

The College is ideally situated in the Sussex countryside between Haywards Heath and Brighton, and is within easy reach of London by train. We offer extensive transport services across Sussex, Surrey and Kent, including a chaperoned weekly return train service from Clapham Junction.

Academic excellence is the foundation of a Hurst education, because we believe it opens doors to the future. Therefore every child is challenged and supported along the way in our friendly and warm community.

At Hurst, we are ambitious for each of our pupils and who they can become. Each child has the opportunity to access all the college has to offer and we encourage each one to engage and enjoy all aspects of school life.

We want our pupils to learn the importance of certain values: a sense of duty, an awareness of right and wrong and a respect for others. We want pupils to be ambitious with a clear sense of purpose, to acquire a balanced view of life and develop into independent, mature individuals.

We believe that each pupil must be given every opportunity to achieve their personal best in order to progress to the university of their choice or make a successful move into their chosen profession.
