MR SOLUTIONS is a worldwide frontrunner in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology, developer and manufacturer of the world’s first range of commercial, superconducting, cryogen-free (dry magnet), benchtop MRI systems. MR Solutions accessorizes its preclinical MRI scanners with PET and SPECT modules for both sequential and simultaneous acquisition with MR data.
The cryogenics and superconducting magnet design team is expanding and has a full time technical vacancy. The permanent position will be based at MRS Magnetics in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
The applicant should be educated to at least degree level in physics with experience of thermodynamics, ideally at cryogenic temperatures. An interest in Electro-magnetics and superconductivity would also benefit the applicant.
A level of proficiency in COMSOL Multiphysics FEA simulation software and MatLab would be advantageous.
A willingness to learn and apply themselves in a commercial environment is important.
