The University of Manchester has invested more than £500M over the last decade in stateof-the-art equipment and world class laboratories ranging from nanofabrication to metrology-class cryogenic characterisation and cutting-edge optics. These are housed within the National Graphene Institute, Henry Royce Institute and Photon Science Institute and will provide the successful candidate with the facilities they will need to realise their research aspirations. Additional support for successful Fellowship holders will be provided including a PhD studentship and formal mentoring and training via our new academic programme.

Applications will be reviewed for their strategic fit with QSE@UoM. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to give a seminar at a virtual Fellows Symposium, in February 2022.
