Job Details

The Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Linköping University, Sweden, seeks for a highly motivated researcher to fill in an opening of a postdoc (or a visiting scientist) position in electronic properties and magneto-optical spectroscopy of novel lead (PB)-free perovskites. The research topics mainly involve understanding electronic structure and recombination processes that are relevant to applications for optoelectronics and spintronics. The position will be placed at the Unit of Functional Electronic Materials (Division of Electronic and Photonic Materials), which has extensive state-of-the-art facilities of optical and magneto-optical spectroscopies and established growth of lead-free perovskites.

The successful candidate is expected to have PhD in solid state physics or related disciplines, as well as education background and research experience in semiconductor physics. Experiences in optical and magneto-optical spectroscopy (e.g. magneto-photoluminescence and magneto-optical Faraday/Kerr rotations, time-resolved photoluminescence) are preferred. The period of employment is 1-2 years, which is negotiable, with a possibility of further career development if the candidate has earned outstanding achievements during the first appointment.

The interested candidates are invited to send CV, a publication list and names of at least two references from the last and current employment, who will provide recommendation letters if required, to
