Graduate Intern for Physics Outreach

Interested in a career in STEM communication and outreach? We're currently recruiting for a Graduate Intern for Physics Outreach to sit within the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology at the University of York.  

The role would be an ideal starting opportunity for a recent graduate/final year student graduating this summer, and has an anticipated start date of 11 September 2023. The role includes mentoring by academic staff leading on engagement and by the School's outreach and public engagement coordinator.

The School of Physics, Engineering and Technology has an extensive outreach and public engagement programme and the successful candidate will be involved in the development and delivery of a range of initiatives, focusing on astronomy and nuclear physics. 

The position is fixed-term for one year and is a full-time role (37 hours per week). The salary is £21,630 a year and the closing date for applications is Sunday 2 April.
