You will provide oversight to the application of WCI resources to develop solutions and transfer technology, ideas, and intellectual property for non-nuclear mission applications. You will work closely with the other LLNL SPP leaders and programs outside of WCI to provide support for the broader national security mission of LLNL. This position is in the WCI Principal Associate Directorate (PAD).

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate with other SPP efforts at LLNL and support relevant technologies and capabilities across the Laboratory.
  • Lead the WCI SPP council to manage coordination of all SPP activities.
  • Advise WCI Principal Associate Directorate leadership on partnership activities and status of SPP efforts.
  • Coordinate with and host visits from across the DoD, industry, and other government agencies.
  • Provide support for the Joint Munitions Program Manager and other external relationship managers.
  • Develop and maintain a career pipeline for SPP and relationship management.
  • Develop and implement plans to promote inclusion, diversity, equity, and culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • This position requires an active Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance or active Top Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at the time of hire.
  • PhD in science and/or engineering, or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
